Brazil is among the 10 major paper and cellulose producers in the world, responsible for 1.5% of the world paper exports. In addition to supplying the international market, the paper sector presents an excellent local consumption and holds the 10th position in the world ranking.
Thinking of the high temperature conditions and elevated loads present in the paper and cellulose manufacturing process, NSK developed special bearings of the TL series, specific for applications in paper industries. The company also has the BSUA series for centrifugal pumps, approved by ISO and API 610 (American Petrochemical Institute). These bearings enable assembly in pairs in all directions, which facilitates changes and maintenance, in addition to better pump efficiency.
Professional qualification is also worth highlighting. NSK inaugurated this year, in partnership with the Associação Brasileira Técnica de Celulose e Papel (ABTCP), the CCTM - Mobile Technical Qualification Center, aimed at qualifying industrial maintenance professionals, especially for the paper and cellulose industry. This is a true itinerant school that takes the whole structure of our training centers to the companies in this field.
