Vibrating equipment is generally lubricated using the oil bath or oil circulation method. Grease lubrication is also used in some cases.
1. Oil Lubrication
If oil lubrication is used, the oil must contain nonfoaming, antirust and high pressure additives. Viscosity must be between 17 and 25 cSt in work temperature. Oil exchange interval ranges from 1 to 6 months, depending on operation conditions. You must check oil level and conditions on a regular basis, in order to determine the required interval.
2. Grease Lubrication
In case grease lubrication is used, a 2 or 3 degree consistence is recommended. The grease must contain antirust and high pressure additives. If the vibrating screen works with high temperature materials, heat-resistant grease should be used and it should also be replaced several times during the day.
