Approved by ISO and API 610 (American Petrochemical Institute).
For application in centrifugal pumps, NSK developed specific bearings whose special features allow arrangements in pairs in all positions:
- DF (face-to-face arrangement)
- DB (back-to-back )
- DT (tandem arrangement)
The bearings have a 40° angle, which enables good axial and radical load capacity. This bearing line allows mounting with clearance (BSUA) and pre-load (BSUL), depending on the pump configuration.
All bearings have brass reinforced cage. The internal axial clearance of the BSUA bearings is differenciated, as its values are lower than those of the standard bearings. Thereby, they allow only a reduced displacement of the shaft and, consequently, of the pump rotor, causing fewer problems in the sealing systems and providing improved pump efficiency.
