ISO (International Organization for Standardization –) is the world federation of national bodies for standardization It is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in 1947, that currently has 156 member countries and headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. In Brazil, it is represented by Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas – ABNT.
