NSK ball roller bearings are available with cylindrical or tapered bore.
Tapered bore bearings are installed directly on shafts with cylindrical fit, by means of mouting or dismouting bushings
In order to mount tapered bore ball roller bearings, you must verify the radial clearance reduction, based on axial displacement. Initial and residual clearance values (after installation) are in Tables 1 and 2, and can be measured with the help of the feeler gauge. Check the clearance in both races, being careful to maintain the two values approximate.
