In the self-aligning ball bearings, the internal ring has two races and the external ring race is round. The radius center that forms this surface coincides with the bearing center. Accordingly, the intenal ring, balls and cages incline freely in relation to the external ring. Aligning errors resulting from cases such as deviation in shaft and housing machining as well as deficiencies in instalation are corrected automatically. There are also tapered bore bearings, fixed by bushings.
